Bonnie Lou Grotem

Bonnie Lou Grotem went home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2020. Born to Bernard and Mae Stone on December 31,1936 in the small town of Franklin Wisconsin, she was 83 years old. She married Harland Grotem August 14, 1954 in Beaver Creek Wisconsin. They moved to Aberdeen Washington in 1956 and later resided in the Port Orchard area around 1966, then moved to Allen and back to Port Orchard for their remaining years. They were snowbirds in Arizona for the last 20 years together. She spent the last year of her life at Harbor Place in Gig Harbor and throughly enjoyed fellowshipping and playing games with the other residents. Most of her life she was a homemaker and worked in retail sales and helped Harland flip homes and build a few of them.

She is survived and dearly loved by her two children Randy (Janeen) Grotem of Normandy Park WA., Debbie (Brad) Halverson of Olalla WA, and numerous grandchildren: Colby and Chase, Elisha, Rachel, Rebekah, Jonathan and great grandchildren: Kasen, Jaxon, Rosalie, Zoe, Bravery, Ocean and Ryker, and her brothers & sister Patsy (Howie) Shafer, David (Diane) Stone, Bruce Stone. She was preceded in death by her husband Harland, brothers Gene Stone and Arne Stone, her parents and her great grand daughter Bexley.
