Bradley Ashby

Bradley David Ashby, 53, of Port Orchard died Nov. 20, 2011 in Bremerton.  Brad was born Nov. 27, 1957 in Seattle to Donald and Margie (Johnson) Ashby.  He attended Lynnwood H.S., received his G.E.D. from the University of Washington and then attended Culinary School. He married Karla Thorner Jan. 17, 1999 in San Poncho, Mexico.  Brad was a painting contractor and loved alpine skiing, camping, hiking and boating. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.   He is survived by his wife, Karla Thorner, and  sons Tyler Ashby,and Nicholas Fattal all of Port Orchard, parents, Don and Bobbie Ashby of Everett, and Glenn Wilson of Lynnwood, brothers, Larry of Everett, Scott of Skykomish, Bryan (Mike) of Portland, OR, sister, Lorrie of Lynnwood and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.   A celebration of Brad’s life will be held onThursday, Dec. 8, 2011, 1pm at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 111 N.E. 80th St., Seattle, WA 98115.  Online memorial at www.rill.com .
