Brenda Dombrock

Brenda K. Dombrock, 56 died at home in Port Orchard on December 25, 2008. She was born August 11, 1952 to James T. & Lucy F. Beckum in Columbia Tennessee.  She and her family moved to San Diego, California in 1955.  She and her husband Willie were married 39 years and have 2 children.  Brenda's loves in life were her family, grandchildren, friends and even strangers. She was employed at EJB as a housing coordinator for Jackson Park Navy Housing.  She enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren's functions as well as her grandson's baseball and basketball games.  She enjoyed going to the casino's and going camping with friends and family. She loved life and being around people. She touched many lives! She always had kind words to say about everyone and always said "dont give up hope". Our love, Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Friend is survived by her husband Willie; son John & wife Carla; daughter Tracy & husband Tom; grandchildren Jacob, Mathieu, Amanda, Brandon, Brehanna, Jessika, Kameren & Ryan; and father James Beckum, all of Port Orchard.  Also surviving are brothers Tony Beckum of San Diego, CA, William (Lois) of Seabeck, Washington; and sister Carolyn (Jim) Boatright of San Diego, California, and sisters-in-law Annette (Denny) Rath of Minnesota and Lois (David) Martin of Missouri. She has numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Lucy Beckum & niece Julie Simon.  Visitation at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard on Tuesday, December 30th from Noon to 4pm.  Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, also at Rill's Life Tribute Center.
