Bronah Holt

Bronah Edwin Holt of Port Orchard, Washington died at home on April 23, 2006 due to a long term illness. He was 75. He was born January 7, 1931 in Dyer, Tennessee to Roy and Lillie (Bruce) Holt. He married Gladys W. (Ulery) Holt in Long Beach, California in 1952. She died in 1995. Bronah attended school in Tennessee through the 8th grade. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 - 1953 during the Korean War. Bronah worked for Cresent Manufacturer in Seattle, Washington for 30 years - retiring in 1994. He made spices and became forman. He loved his job. He was a Southern Baptist. He was a member of Eagles of Port Orchard; loved gardening, traveling and family BBQ's. Bronah is survived by daughters - Mary L. Carter and Linda S. Bowers - both of Port Orchard, Washington; sister - Freda Holt of Dyer, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by spouse - Gladys W. (Ulery) Holt. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard, Washington on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to: Adventure of Faith Church Port Orchard, Washington 98366
