Cameron Mckenzie

Cameron K. McKenzie, 81, a resident of Port Orchard, died March 6, 2010 in Tacoma of natural causes. He was born in Seattle, Washington on March 3, 1929 to Kenneth A. and Margaret (Westerman) McKenzie. He graduated from high school in Los Angeles, CA in 1948 and married Josephine Y. Bilyeu in Seattle on April 27, 1951. She preceded him in death in 1999. He served in the United States Navy (Reserve) as an Aviation Ordnanceman during the Korea War and Viet Nam eras. He worked as an Electronics technician and Electrician for the Annapolis Water District retiring in 1991. Cameron enjoyed gardening, fishing, sailing and riding motorcycles and was a member of the Seattle Scottish Highlands Games Association. He is survived by sons Kenneth J. McKenzie (Nancy) of Kirkland, Richard McKenzie of Port Orchard and Kevin McKenzie of Kirkland; daughter Karen McKenzie of Bothell and Barbara McKenzie of Vancouver, one grandchild Ronald of Kennewick and one great-grandchild Ronald, Jr of Kennewick. Graveside service will be at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard Saturday, March 13th at 1:00 pm.
