She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in East Bremerton. She had strong faith and spent time studying her bible on daily commutes when she worked in Seattle. She enjoyed reading, camping, family outings, movies with friends, and loved spending time at the park with her children. Carey was driven to not only clip the coupons but to use lots of them regularly earning her the nickname “discount diva” by her family. Carey’s courage and faith was an inspiration to so many during her journey and will be truly missed by everyone’s lives she has touched. A celebration of Carey’s life will be held at Peace Lutheran Church in East Bremerton, WA, on Sunday February 28th at 3PM. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
