Carl W. Burbank died in Port Orchard, Washington on September 7, 2003. He was 86.He was born May 8, 1917 in Airlie, Oregon.He married Laura "Bobbie" Burbank.Carl served in the Army and Navy during WWII.He worked as a logger; and, also, retired as a rigger from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.Carl is survived by his wife, Laura "Bobbie" Burbank, of the Port Orchard, Washington family home; daughters - Cindy Burbank (& companion, Bill Rourke) of Lakewood, Washington, Tina Hawkins of Port Orchard, Washington; brother - Eugene Burbank of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters - Pearl Mills of Eugene, Oregon, Pat Lyday of Kingsvalley, Oregon, Lois Marquardt of Eugene, Oregon, and Zona Singler of Las Vegas, Nevada; and, numerous nieces and nephews.Carl was preceded in death by: brother - William Burbank, sisters - Doris McCormack and Evelyn Pinto.A private graveside service will be held at Sunset Lane Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, send contributions to:Fire District #7 Medics1974 Fircrest Drive SEPort Orchard, Washington 98366
