Carl Witt

Carl Elton Witt died January 22, 1999 in Willcox, Arizona.  He was born May 4, 1930 in Seattle, WA to Elton and Sarah Witt.  He was raised in Port Orchard, WA and graduated from South Kitsap High School.  He attended Washington State University and Olympic College.  He was a member of the Washington State National Guard from 1950 to 1956.  He also worked as a Camp Host at Magic Circle R.V. park in Willcox, AZ.  He also owned the Hilltop Grocery in Port Orchard for 8.5 years, was a car salesman for Chuck Haselwood in Bremerton and Howe Ford in Port Orchard, worked as a beverage distributor in Kitsap County and was a receiving manager for P.J.'s market in Pahrump, NV.  Mr. Witt was also a member of the United Commercial Travelers in Kitsap County. He is survived by his wife Mary Witt, sons Kyle Witt, John Witt, daughter Kim Staebell, sisters, Helen Bracamontes, Mildred Langland, grandchildren, Kyle Witt, Laura Witt, Chris Staebell and 2 great grandchildren.  Services will be held at Pendleton Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel January 30, 1999 at 10:00 a.m.  Memorials may be made to the University of Washington Medical Center Cardiothoracic Research, 1959 NE Pacific St., Seattle, WA 98195.
