Carol Jean Jack

July 4, 1941 — November 14, 2018

Carol Jack was born in Spokane WA. On July/ 4/ 1941. She went to Mead grade school
and graduated from Mead High School. She went to work for a local nursing home until
she got married.

January 1st she met her husband to be at the local roller rink. He gave her an engagement ring Christmas eve 1960 and they were married July 29th 1961. She received a 2 for one deal because her husband had a 4 ½ year old son Tracy born March 1957 from a previous marriage.

June 10 1962 our daughter Annette was born followed by a brother Kevin born November 30 1964.

Some of our fondest memories were Christmas with the family in Spokane and at the
Lake cabin at Diamond Lake.

Carol did not work outside of the home. She felt her place was being a home maker
Which she did with pride. She felt staying home and taking care of the family was her calling
She relied on God for knowledge and strength to do this.

Carol’s employer was God, her associate was her husband. Carol retired 11/14/2018
When she went home to be with Jesus11/14/2018. Favorite family activities were
RV camping, family and friends get togethers such as Christmas.

She loved to bake and cook for the Holidays. Her baking was hey do you want?
And the answer is yes. One time we were parked at a campground near Winthrop
And she baked an apple pie with the window open and it almost caused a stampede.
This wasn’t the only time either. Carol loved to sew and when she got her embroidery
machine she would spend hours in her sewing room making placemats, coasters, and
Designs on clothes.

Her favorite experiences in life were going to different places such as Washington DC, Yellowstone Park, Banff and such places. She liked to spend time in Leavenworth and Mt. Rainier.

She also love Christian music (old hymns and some of the new songs). "It is Finished" and "Old Rugged Cross" are some of her favorites.

Carol loved roses and her favorite was the 4th of July rose and any blue or black roses. Her favorite color was blue and her favorite saying was "Get that frown off your face before it freezes".

We have had 5 dogs, 4 chipmunks and 1 Ground Squirrel for pets. The ground squirrel ate one of the chipmunks. Her favorite dogs were Ginger and Mr. Bean.

In closing---- If we are loved half as much as Carol was we are going to be well loved.
