Carol Weegman

Carol Ruby Weegman, 82, of Port Orchard, Washington, passed on Sunday January 18, 2015. A fifty-year resident of Belfair, WA, she was a Charter Member of Christ Lutheran Church. Previously, she baked pies and cinnamon rolls for the Belfair Cafe, volunteered at the North Mason Food Bank, and made around 2,000 quilts for Lutheran World Relief.

Carol loved her large family, and is preceded in death by her husband Norman, her companion Chester Griffith, her son Larry, her parents and siblings.

She is survived by her son David Weegman; daughters Beverly Sharer, Kathy Woodhead and Jeanette Wolle; her beloved siblings Sharon Freitas and Virgil Armbruster, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial to be held on January 31 at 11:30 at Christ Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church 3701 NE North Shore Rd. Belfair, WA 98528 or Lutheran World Relief PO Box 17061 Baltimore, MD 21297-1061.
