Carole Wegner

Carole Marlene Wegner of Belfair, Washington died Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was 70. She was born in Devil's Lake, North Dakota to Elmer and Marie (Reimer) Schrag. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Washington in 1951. On December 4, 1954, she married Tex Wegner in Tacoma. He preceded her in death in 2001. Mrs. Wegner was a faithful member of Belfair Assembly of God, serving on the board of deacons there. She loved gardening, sewing, cooking, Bible study, singing and landscaping. Survivors include four sons, Tim and his wife, Linda, of Puyallup, Tom and his wife, Beth, of Port Orchard, Ashley and his wife, Sheila, of Belfair and Ron and his wife, Linda, of Tacoma; three sisters, Bonnie Crane of Sun City, Arizona, Dianne Sherk of Tacoma and Kathy Rose of Lebanon, Oregon; 11 grandchildren, Carissa, Amber, Jeff, Travis, Bryce, Emily, Julia, Nicole, Brooke, Courtney and Kristopher; and three great-grandchildren, Ireland, Avalyn and Kellen. Viewing will be from noon to 6 p.m., Friday April 2, 2004 at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday April 3, 2004 at Belfair Assembly of God. A graveside service following at 3 p.m. Saturday at Twin Firs Cemetery on Sandhill Road in Belfair.
