Carrie Lyn Huff

June 27, 1968 — October 6, 2022

Carrie Lyn was born to John Almont & Linda (Johnson) Parker in Tacoma, WA on June 27, 1968, the eldest of six children. She later attended South Kitsap High School.

Carrie loved classic rock, cooking, gardening, cleaning, especially her cars which she kept spotless at all times, she always had a Coca Cola or her yellow Powerade in hand. She was an avid football fan, especially the huskies and Seahawks. Every game you could hear her screaming “Go baby!”, even from the house next door. Among her favorite pass times and hobbies were camping, clam digging, and always loved finding a good sale. Although she decorated for every holiday including St Patrick’s Day, she especially loved Thanksgiving and Christmas and helping put together all the meals.

She drove bus for south Kitsap school district and loved it almost as much as her favorite thing in life which was being a being a mom and grandma, as it likely served as an extension of being around her own kids. Her favorite color was red, and she was always beautiful morning, noon, and night. Carrie was also the master of the messy bun which added to attractive appearance.

She passed away unexpectedly on October 6, at St. Michael’s Hospital in Silverdale.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald of 25 years, children Cortney, Miles, Alivia, and Carys; granddaughter Violet; parents John (Char), and Linda as well as numerous other family members and dear friends.
