Casey Zaccagnini of Port Orchard, Washington died July 1, 2005 at the family home due to congestive heart failure. He was born May 26, 1916 in Seattle, Washington to Vincenzo and Mechelina (Diblasio) Zaccagnini. Casey married Iona (Kiefer) Zaccagnini June 29, 1951 in Port Orchard, Washington. He attended South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington. Casey served in the United States Army from November of 1943 - April of 1946 - attaining rank of Staff Sergeant. He worked as an automotive mechanic for 45 years - retiring in 1988. Casey worked as a Chevrolet Mechanic for Kluge, Halverson, Jon Swanson then Robinson/Grey Chevrolet. Casey was a member of Port Orchard Eagles (Life Member); Honorary Member of Ramblin' Eagles RV Club; American Legion Post 30! He loved working on Chevy cars; camping, horseshores, bowling and loved to fish and hunt. Casey is survived by his sister Mary Larson of Port Orchard; niece - Donna Zaccagnini; nephews - Dennis Zaccagnini of Port Orchard, Jim Larson of Port Orchard and Ken Larson of Schenectaty, New York; his beloved companion - Lillian Chess. He was preceded in death by brothers: (twins) Dominic and Henry, and by Ralph and Bruno. A Memorial Service will be held at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Donations may be made to: Catholic Community Services Long Term Care 1323 S.
