Casey B. Macabitas, 59 of Port Orchard, died in Tacoma on February 14, 2010. He was born January 13, 1951 at Clark Air Force, Pampanga, Philippines to Casey & Felina (Buen) Macabitas. He graduated from South Kitsap HS and earned an Associate Degree in Accounting from Mount Wachusetts College in Gardner, MA in 1995. He married Yon H. Kim on February 8, 1980 in Seoul, Korea. Casey worked for 14 years as a Customer Service Rep. for Budget Rental Car. He also served for 20 years in the U. S. Army as a Medic. Casey loved his wife, children and grandchildren and enjoyed cooking and going out to eat. He liked attending his nieces and nephews sporting event. He was fun loving and a good prankster. Casey loved golfing, Mariner Games, football and going to Las Vegas. Surviving are wife Yon; son Dean of Seattle; daughter Melisa (Joel) of Port Orchard; brothers Edwin (Tammy) Macabitas of Port Orchard, Romeo (Tina) of Killeen, TX, William of Bremerton & Allen of Port Orchard; sisters Elma (Denny) Nelson of Albuquerque NM, Jean (Joe) Firman, Olivia Macabitas, & Madeline (Mike) Swanson, all of Port Orchard; grandchildren Jayden & Marisa and 24 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Felicia. Visitation on Friday, February19th from 4-6:00pm at Rill's Life Tribute Center. Rosary will be Sunday, February 21st at 6:00pm with visitation at 7:00pm, also at Rill's. Funeral Mass at 1:00pm on Monday, February 22, 2010 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard. Burial will follow at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
