Catherine Bodeutsch

Catherine "Kay" J. Bodeutsch, 86 of Port Orchard, died in Bremerton on April 22, 2010. She was born March 9, 1924 in Brookfield, Missouri to Homer & Lorene Alderton. She graduated from Brookfield High School in 1942 and married Kenneth C. Bodeutsch in Kansas City, Missouri on February 3, 1946. Kay was a charter member of Berean Bible Church in Shoreline, Washington and a member of Grace Bible Church in Port Orchard. She was Lesson Corrector for the Prison Mission Association. Kay was Past President of the Fuchsia Society in Seattle. Surviving are husband Kenneth; sons Gary (Jeanette) of Tumwater, Washington and Calvin (Karen) of Port Orchard; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by great-grandson Augustine Bodeutsch. Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 pm on Monday, April 26, 2010 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Graveside service at 11:15 am on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
