Cecela Tankersley

Cecelia E. Tankersley, 93, of Port Orchard died Jan. 28, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in Gig Harbor.  She was born June 5, 1917 in Belleville, Illinois to William and Bertha (Erlinger) Price.  She married Dale Tankersley Oct. 22, 1947 in Geneseo, Ill.   Cecelia was employed in various fields retiring as a Administrative Assistant in a Nuclear Laboratory.  She was also a wife and mother of two children. Survivors include her daughter Sharon Kay of Port Orchard and son Terry Tankersley of Prosper, TX, grandson, David Tankersley; and two great-grandchildren, Carl and Joshua Tankersley.   Memorial service will be at a later time and inurnment will be at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.    Memorial donations may be made to Family First Adult Family Homes, 4700 Pt.
