Cecil W. Stryker

Cecil ''Bill'' W. Stryker, 72 of Purdy, Washington died on August 9, 2000 in Port Orchard, Washington. He was born April 26, 1928 in Monmouth, Oregon to Marcus & Martha (Hannum) Stryker.Mr. Stryker worked as a Machinist for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington, retiring in 1981. He also retired after 20 years service in the United States Navy in 1967. Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing.Surviving are his wife Mary; daughter Debra Stryker of Purdy, Washington; brother Jim of Coos Bay, Oregon; sister Alice Reardon of St. Stephens, South Carolina; and 2 grandsons. Mr. Stryker was preceded in death by his son Mark in 1983 and his grandson Andy in 1978.Private Inurnment services will be at Twin Firs Cemetery in Belfair, Washington.
