Cecilia Charfauros

Cecilia C. Charfauros, ‘Chee”, a resident of Port Orchard, died Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Port Orchard. She was born August 25, 1954 in Merizo, Guam to Marianio M. and Florentina C. (Castro) Champaco. She married Juan C. Charfauros in the Spring of 1990 and he preceded her in death in 2000.  Chee worked in various places as a caregiver for 44 years. She was a member of the Islanders Bowling League and various Guam clubs. She loved Karaoke and spending time with family and friends and praying. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth F. Champaco of Port Orchard; Frank Champaco (Lou) and Mariano Champaco (Chilang); sisters Ana C. Champaco, Rosa (Jose,d) Quitano, Isabel (Felix,d) Castro, Marie Cruz (Juan), and Toni Griffiths (Larry) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Benjamin, Pedro, Ramon, Antonio and Ponciano. Services are as follows: viewing Thursday, May 10th 4:00 to 7:00 with Rosary at 7:00 at Rill Chapel; viewing Friday, May 11, noon to 1:30, Rosary at 1:30 with a Mass at 2:00 at St. Gabriel’s RCC followed by burial at Sunset Lane Memorial Park at approximately 3:15, all in Port Orchard.
