Cecilia Providencia Schramm, 94, formerly of Flint, Michigan, died at her daughter's home in Silverdale, Washington on March 9, 2007. She was born November 21, 1912 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Joaquin & Providencia (Velez) Burset. Cecilia graduated from high school in San Juan. She married Charles F. Schramm, Jr. on October 10, 1946 in New York City, New York. He preceded her in death on July 15, 2002. Cecilia retired after 14 years in Bridal Alterations at Smith Bridgemans of Flint, Michigan. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening. She was a member of North Baptist Church of Flint. Surviving are daughters Cecilia V. Durocher of Grand Blanc, Michigan, Charlene (Terry) Fial of Pearl City, Hawaii, and Catherine (William) Parker of Silverdale, Washington; grandchildren Matthew & Tricia Parker, Aaron & Elena Parker, Allyson Parker, Micah Parker, Seth Parker, Julie, John & Joshua Fial; and great-grandchildren Nicolas Parker, Sofia Parker, and Monica Cecilia Parker. She was preceded in death by Mercedes Burset, Luisa (Burset) Roselli, Joaquin Burset, Jose Burset, and Joaquin Rafael Burset. Graveside service at 12:00 Noon on March 14, 2007 at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint, Michigan.
