Celerina Daffon Mirador, age 73, died August 18, 1999 in Port Orchard, Washington. She was born February 23, 1926 in the Philippine Islands to Gabriel and Basilia Daffon where she was raised and attended school. She married Richard Mirador in the Philippine Islands on January 4, 1950. She worked various jobs as a seamstress, apartment manager, and a cannery worker. Most recently she was a homemaker. She was a member of various Fil-Am Clubs in Western Washington, the Filipino War Brides Association of Seattle, and St Gabriel Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughters; Alice Linsao of Port Orchard, WA., Lavinia Wright of Bremerton, WA., Evelyn Jenkins of Corvallis, OR., Julie Pulk of Port Orchard, WA., Caroline Moldovan of Seattle, WA., Mary Plunk of Seattle, WA., brothers; Gabriel Daffon of Seattle, WA., Aniano Daffon of Seattle, WA., sister Carolina Paalisbo of Seattle, WA., 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her daughter Rachel Mirador in 1962. Visitation will be at Rill Chapel, August 22, 1999 from 6:00-7:00p.m. A vigil service will be held at Rill Chapel at 7:00 pm, Sunday, August 22, 1999. A funeral mass will be held at St. Gabriel Catholic Church Monday, August 23, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard, WA. Memorial donations may be made at your favorite charity.
