Celia Rood (Hutchins)

Celia Ione Rood (Hutchins) died April 20, 2003 in Port Orchard, Washington. She was 81.She was born June 18, 1921 in Ford, Washington to Oliver and Iona (Derringer) Hutchins.Celia graduated from Monroe High School in Monroe, Washington in 1939.She married Ivar Rood in June of 1962 in Seattle, Washington.Celia was a booker for 22 years - retiring in 1984.She injoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and was pianist and church organist. She also played organ for Purdy-Kerr Funeral Home in Monroe.She was a member of the Free Methodist Church.Celia is survived by son - Theodore "Ted" Stucky (& wife, Cheryl) of Port Orchard, Washington; daughter - Karen Stucky of Port Orchard, Washington; and, one grandchild, Charmaine Arredondo.There will be no services.Memorial donations may be made to:Children's Hospital Orthopedic GuildP.O.
