Charles Bowker

Charles Kay Bowker, was born July 24th, 1923 in Clinton Iowa, passed away at Washington Veterans Home at Retsil on 29th July 2011 at the spry age of 88. He served as a Radioman in the Coast Guard from1941 to 1947. Drove for Yale trucking and Grey Lines Tours. He married Glenda Harris in a beautiful ceremony at the Chapel at Retsil 24 July 2009. He was known for his rich singing voice and his charming manner. He will be missed by those that survive him; his wife, Glenda, his children Russ, Eric, Chris, Valerie Davis, Sharon Glickman, Deidre Dye , their spouses, children and their children and all their friends in Port Orchard. A Memorial Service will be held for Chuck on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Port Orchard United Methodist Church at 3:00 pm.
