Charles "Glen" Marrs of Port Orchard, Washington died October 20, 2006 at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Tacoma. He was 59. He was born December 10, 1946 in Port Townsend, Washington to Clarence and Donna (Evenson) Marrs. Charles attended Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor, WA. He served in the U.S. Army - was a Vietnam Veteran. He received the Vietnam Service Medial with 3 Bronze Service Stars. Charles was a member of the American Veterans (Washington Dept.: Post #1). He enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, and had an absolute love of children and animals; and, was a loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Charles is survived by his mother Donna Marrs of Port Orchard; sisters Barbara Nahaku of Kent, Washington, Nadeen Bradley of Port Orchard, Sandra Kopp of Kent, Darlene Allman of Monroe, Washington, Lynda Thein of Port Orchard, and Teresa Thompson of Port Orchard. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Marrs in 1986 and by sister Cecile Sims in 1996. A Graveside service will be held Friday, October 27, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
