Charlotte Marie Corey

Charlotte Marie Corey nee Runnels, age 74, passed away suddenly Friday, April 23, 2021. Charlotte was cherished by her husband Kurt for the 47 years of their marriage. Born in Seattle and raised in Tacoma, Charlotte loved living out at the lake in Port Orchard. Who needs a vacation home when you live in paradise? Charlotte was an avid roller skater and bowler in her youth, and she loved to dance. Her later years brought a passion for wellness, for helping young women facing unplanned pregnancies, and for volunteering at Peninsula Life Church, where she and Kurt were founding members. Above all, Charlotte was fiercely devoted to her family. She is survived by husband Kurt, daughter Pam Beltz, sons Rhett Corey and Mike Weber, several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed until the day of our glorious eternal reunion.
