Charlotte Louie Meeks died on Sept 17, 2013 surrounded by family members. She was born on Jan 8, 1924 in Wapato, WA to Samuel and Louie (Storbakken) Kocher and was one of five children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Arthur, Lorena and Loretta, her husbands Roy Lindberry and Loren Meeks, her son Steven Lindberry, her grandson Mark Head, and great granddaughter Evangeline Howard. She is survived by her sister Evelyn Stogsdill, her sons Clifford Head, Robert Head, and Carl Lindberry and her daughter Arlene Howard. She is also survived by her step daughters Darlene Head, Janice Beveridge, Loreen Steffans and Doreen Jared, her step sons Richard Meeks, Kevin Meeks and her foster son Andy Emmert. Too numerous to mention by name are 25 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. She worked many years as a waitress but her main love was homemaker, mother and foster mother. She was active in her church as a Sunday School Teacher, AWANA leader and World Changer and for years was an active participant in TOPS. Charlotte loved gardening, crocheting and puzzles. She was much loved and will be missed. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, Sept 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Christ the Rock, 4100 SW Old Clifton Rd, Port Orchard, WA.
