Cheryl Rose

Cheryl A. Rose was born January 18, 1959, at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, Washington. She was the only child of James William Hampton and Belma Harris Hampton. Cheryl graduated from Rainier Beach High School in 1977, and attended Renton Beauty School. Upon completing her studies in Cosmetology, she worked shortly in the field until she started her career at Boeing Aerospace. Her service at Boeing lasted for twenty year. For the past nine years, after retiring, Cheryl moved into the fulltime job of mom and homemaker to her four sons. Cheryl married Richard Rose on July 17, 1992, and gained two step-sons; Dustin and Brandon Rose. The Rose family has resided in Port Orchard, Washington, for the past 15 years. Cheryl accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior of her life in 1991, and the Roses are currently attending Adventure of Faith Church in Port Orchard, Washington. Cheryl?s hobbies included sewing, cooking, gardening, camping, and doing crafts. She was also an accomplished accordion player and an avid reader. Cheryl went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2006, at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Washington. She was preceded to heaven by her father, James W. Hampton, in 1998. Her surviving family members include husband Richard Rose of Port Orchard; sons Dustin (Andrea) Rose of Troutdale, Oregon, Brandon (Jamey) Rose of Washougal, Washington, James Rose and Timothy Hunter, both of Port Orchard; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Sophia, and Elijah Rose, all of Washougal, Washington; and mother Belma Harris Hampton of Hansville, Washington. A Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 23, 2006, at Adventure of Faith Church in Port Orchard.
