Chester Upton

Chester A. Upton died October 24, 2002 in Port Orchard, Washington. He was 91.He was born October 30, 1910 in Montrose, Colorado to Walter and Verda (Smiley) Upton.He attended school in the Montrose, Colorado area.Chester worked as a farm laborer, bee keeper, and salesman of religious books.He enjoyed wood working.Chester was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church.He is survived by son - Wayne B. Upton of Brighton, Colorado; daughters - Joyce Schilt of Port Orchard, Washington and Janet Brown of Hanford, California. He was preceded in death by brothers - William Upton and Gilbert Upton, and sister Ester Brach.He will be inurned at Cedar Cemetery in Montrose, Colorado.
