Christine L. Ewing, 45, of Port Orchard, Washington, died on April 18, 2002 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington after a long term fight with cancer. Christine was born June 15, 1956 in Nampa, Idaho to Linnel and Violet (Hull) Lawrence. She attended Nampa High School, graduating in 1974 and Olympic College in Bremerton, gradutating in 1984. On December 6, 1987 she married Rodney E. Ewing in Bremerton. Christine was a homemaker and bookkeeper and enjoyed horses and crafts. She was a member of Christian Life Center in Port Orchard, Washington.Christine is survived by her husband, Rodney D. Ewing of Belfair, Washington; her mother, Violet M. Lawrence of Nampa, Idaho; a son, Dustan M. Lawrence of Port Orchard; two daughters Rebecca M. Clark of Port Orchard and Danyael C. Hackbarth of Port Orchard; Four brothers, Larry Lawrence, Gene Lawrence and Marvin Lawrence of Nampa, Idaho and Gary Lawrence of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three sisters, Pat Boyer, Linda Randolph and Lou Lou Wilson all of Nampa; two grandchildren, Logan Riley Clark and Kylie Christiana Hackbarth. Christine was preceeded in death by her brother, Donny Lawrence.There will be a Memorial Service at Christian Life Center in Port Orchard on Saturday, April 27, 2002 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be Friday, April 26, 2002 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.
