Chris E. Henault, 53 passed away at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton WA., Tuesday morning Oct. 14th due to complications associated with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Chris grew up in Port Orchard, WA where she attended Orchard Heights Elementary, Marcus Whitman Jr. High, South Kitsap High School and Olympic College where she received her 2-year AA degree. She was active in Volleyball, Basketball and Softball. She loved gardening, camping, fishing and her pets. Chris worked at Seattle Public Library where she enjoyed her wonderful co-workers. Chris was a kind, intelligent and funny free spirited person who touched many different people in many different ways. She loved to make people laugh.
Chris was born in Woonsocket Rhode Island to Andre Henault and Gloria Ramsay (Bastien). At an early age Chris moved to Port Orchard, WA to live with her Aunt Eva Kolar and Cousin Chris Kolar. She leaves behind her father Andre of Jaffrey New Hampshire, mother Gloria of Woonsocket R.I., sisters Brenda, Angela and Cathy and brothers Mike, John and Leo, Cousin Chris Kolar and wife Diane of Manson WA, along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and a world of loving friends.
There will be a celebration of her life at Owens Beach, inside Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma, WA, on Saturday, Oct. 25th at 1:00 pm. The gathering will be a Pot-luck/picnic with those who wish to remember Chris E. Henault.
