Christopher Brooks

Christopher Anthony Brooks, 18 of Port Orchard died January 21, 2007 in Port Orchard, Washington. He was born on November 22, 1988 in San Diego, California to Timothy L. & Mary M. (Navarre) Brooks. Christopher attended Bassetti and Dyess Elementary schools and Franklin Middle School, where he played football. He had lived in Port Orchard for the past several years and was a senior at South Kitsap High School. He enjoyed football, snowboarding, video games, working on cars, riding dirt bikes and all terrain vehicles, going to the lake and spending time with his friends. Survivors include his mother Mary (Stacy) Evans of Abilene, Texas; father Tim (Amber) Brooks of Port Orchard; brothers Cody & Eric Evans; sister Caitlin Brooks; grandparents Sharon and Ray Navarre, Sandra Beversdorf, Robert Brooks, and Mary and Steve Shipman; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation is Thursday, January 25th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard with Funeral service following at 5:00 pm. A reception will follow the service at 6:00 pm at the Eagles Hall, 4001 Jackson in Port Orchard. Interment and concluding ceremony will be on Monday, January 29th at Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene, Texas.
