Christopher Simmons

Christopher R. Simmons died July 25, 2002 in Port Orchard, Washington as the result of a traffic accident. He was 21.He was born August 29, 1980 in Portland, Oregon to Darrell and Deborah (Mitchell) Simmons.He graduated from North Mason High School in Belfair, Washington in 1999; and, attended Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington.He was a house keeper at Alpine Way Retirement Home in Shelton, WashingtonChristopher was a member of the Spirit Force Karate DoJo in Belfair, Washington where he was a 1st Degree Black Belt. He enjoyed writing and poetry, and drawing.He was a Christian.He is survived by his father Darrell and fiance' Christine (Read) Simmons of Bremerton, Washington, mother Deborah Simmons (residence unknown), sisters Virginia Ray (and husband Charles) of Shelton, Washington, and Leanna Branham (and husband David) of Belton, Missouri, maternal grandfather Ralph Mitchell of Ridgefield, Washington.Visitations will be at Rill Chapel July 31, 2002 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. and August 1, 2002 from 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m.Services will be held at Rill Chapel of Port Orchard, Washington August 1, 2002 at 2:00 p.m.; and interment will be held at Twin Firs Cemetery in Belfair, Washington.Memorial Donations may be made to:Family of Daniel Benavidez Memorial FundC/0 Any Columbia Bank Branch
