Clara Bayliss

Clara S. Bayliss died October 22, 1998 in Bremerton, WA.  She was born Sept. 9, 1914 in Fingal, N.D. to Charles and Elvida Olson.  Clara was raised in Enderlin, N.D.  She was a member of the Port Orchard Eagles, VFW, and the Blue Star Mothers.  She was a Past President and Past Department Pesident of the Washington State Blue Star Mothers.  Clara was also the Veterams Dau Queen and Mother Of The Year in the 1970's.  She enjoyed bowling, bingo and was an accomplished painter.  Clara is survived by sons Robert Bayliss, Charles Bayliss and Dale Bayliss all of Port Orchard, WA, daughter Lorraine Maves of Bremerton, WA, 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.  Visitation will be held at Rill Chapel at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home in Port Orchard, WA October 26, 1998 from 10:00am to 5:00 pm.  There will be a graveside service at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard, WA October 27, 1998 at 11:00 am.
