C.F. ''Bud'' Freimuth, 75, of Port Orchard died at home May 19, 2000. He was born November 27, 1924 in Davis, S. Dakota to Fred and Rose (Larson) Freimuth. He attended Brookings College in Brookings, S.D.He married Doris M. (Hillestad) Freimuth on January 9, 1944 in Reno, Nev. Mr. Freimuth was a shipfitter at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 15 years upon retiring in 1965. He played several musical instrumens and enjoyed dancing.Survivors include his wife; two sons, Douglas of Las Vegas and Bob of Port Orchard; one daughter, Donna Strapach of Port Orchard; two brothers, Mel Freimuth of Monroe,WA, Marvin Freimuth of steilcoom; Don Evans of Monroe; two sisters, Lila Youman of Savannah,Ga, Alice Reid of Yakima,Wa; seven grandchildren,four great-grandchildren.A private family gathering will be held.Memorials donations to Fraternal order of Eagles-Port Orchard Aerie #2338 P.O.Box 4001 Port Orchard,Wa 98366.
