Clark Boyer

January 10, 1931 — March 7, 1999

Clark E. Boyer, 68, died at his home in Port Orchard on March 7, 1999.  He was born January 10, 1931 in Orangefield, Texas to Clark Sr. and Mary (Donovan) Boyer.  He was raised in Orangefield and in Hoquiam, Washington.  Clark married Shirley M. Minor October 23, 1954 in Houston, Texas.Mr. Boyer served in the U. S. Air Force from 1951 to 1959 as an Airman Basic in Texas and Frankfurt, Germany.  He worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard from 1966 to 1977.  Clark owned his own construction business from 1977 to 1989 when he returned to the shipyard to work, retiring in 1993 as a Pipefitter.Survivors include his wife; sons Gordon of Bremerton and Clark A. of Benton City, WA; daughter Debra of Port Orchard; and 10 grandchildren:  Steven Boyer, Bradley Tunge, Michelle Tunge and Mark Boyer all of Port Orchard; Carrie, Mandy, and Jammie Boyer of Bremerton; Milee Boyer of Seattle; and Amber & Nichole Boyer of Benton City.Visitation will be from 9am to 5 pm on March 10 & 11 and from 9am to service on March 12.  Funeral Service at 11:00 am on March 12, 1999 at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.  Interment following the service at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard at 12:30 PM.
