Claude Wiseman Hunt, 82 of Tacoma, Washington died June 24, 2007. He was born January 22, 1925 in Bison, South Dakota to Fred & Ione (Tate) Hunt. He married Doris Bailey on February 4, 1947 in Port Townsend, Washington. She preceded him in death. Claude worked as a Woodworker at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting with his son & trips with the shipyard. He liked gardening, wine making, BBQ's, picnics, camping, dancing & horseback riding. He remembered riding a horse to school every day. He was a member of Moose Lodge & Parents Without Partners. Surviving are son Terry (Debbie) Hunt of Tacoma; daughters Jeanne (Dale) Holter of Vancouver, Washington and Bonnie Hunt of Bremerton; sisters Charlene Parr of Delavan, Wisconsin, Lyla (Wayne) Sevon of Casper, Wyoming, and Carol Williford of Vidor, Texas; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and very special friend & companion Elsie Dawson of Vancouver, BC. Visitation at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard Thursday, June 28th from Noon to 5:00pm and Friday June 29th from 9:00am until the service at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
