Clenna June Sproul, Age: 92, resident of Port Orchard, Washington, died on January 2, 2002.Clenna had been born on June 11, 1909 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Walter and Martha(Taylor) Jackman. She graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1928. On June 11, 1935, Clenna married Kenneth Malcolm Sproul at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kenneth preceded her in death in 1987.Clenna dedicated her life as a Return Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, and as a homemaker. She was a member of the National Society Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and a member of the LDS faith.Glenna is survived by her son, Donald and his wife, Louise Sproul of Logan, Utah; son, Jerry, and his wife, Linda Sproul of Iona, Idaho; daughter, Marilyn, and husband, Darwin Anderson of Port Orchard; daughter, Janet, and husband, Robert Burnside of White Rock, New Mexico; daughter Reva, and husband, Keith Clark of Moreland, Idaho; daughter Leatha Neilson of Shelly, Idaho; daughter Susan, and husband, Robert Athay, of Meridian, Idaho; daughter Jackilyn Sproul of Spanish Fork, Utah; sister, LaRue Mathie of Kaysville, Utah; thirty nine grandchildren; sixty four great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gertrude Ann Pruden, in 1999.A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, January 5, 2002, at 1:00 p.m., at Thomas LDS Church in Thomas, Idaho. Visitation will precede the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service, at 1:00(also at the church).
