Clifford Blumenthal

A Memorial Service for Clifford M. Blumenthal, 86, of Bremerton, WA, who died August 25th, 2009 will be 4pm Monday at Faith Fellowship Church in Silverdale. Visitation is scheduled from 7-8pm on Sunday at Rill’s Life Tribute Center. Interment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery. The eldest of 9 children, Mr. Blumenthal was born September 3, 1922, in Hainsworth, Nebraska. He moved with his family as a teenager to South Dakota. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He married Wanda Hines of Tuthill, South Dakota on Dec. 21, 1946. After leaving their farm in South Dakota, Clifford became a minister and spent 40 years pastoring churches in South Dakota, Canada, and Bremerton. He enjoyed ministering and sharing his faith with others. He was a wonderful husband and father and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Wanda, of Bremerton, Washington, daughters Judy Ostby, Jerry Mitchell, Janie Godden, JoNell Stanton along with two sons, JMac Blumenthal and Clifford Blumenthal. He had 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, two brothers, four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
