Clifford Gatchell

Clifford H. Gatchell, 93, a resident of Port Orchard, died October 12, 2011. He was born in Selah, WA on September 9, 1918. He married Charlotte (Conklin) Gatchell in Oakville, WA on December 21, 1940. He served in the US Navy from 1944 to 1946 and afterward, owned his own janitorial business. He was a Minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Clifford truly loved and enjoyed his wife, family and life itself. He looks forward to enjoying the Paradise spoken of by our Lord, Jesus Christ. Luke 23:43 & Psalms 37:29. He is survived by his loving wife Charlotte; sons Dale Gatchell of Gig Harbor and Lynn Gatchell (Deborah) of Port Orchard; daughters Myrna Ball (George)and Julia Taylor (Michael); sister Pauline Murphy (100 yrs old) of CA; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Vance Conklin and sister-in-law June Conklin. A Memorial Service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 1901 Bielmeier Rd, Port Orchard, WA at 1:30 pm on October 22, 2011.
