Clista Sybil Jacobs-Milner, 94, of Port Orchard, Washington, died at her home on April 26, 2002 of natural causes. She was born on December 11, 1907 in Billings, Montana to Isum & Minnie (Cummings) Jacobs. Clista married Earl L. Milner on June 28, 1924 in Livingston, Montana. She spent her life as a homemaker and was interested in geneology, loved baking and crochetting. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Sinclair View Ward.Clista was preceeded in death by her husband in 1994. She is survived by her son James Milner of Port Orchard; three daughters, Clista "Rosie" Miller of Port Orchard, Esther Stratton of Nigeria and Betty Norskog of Helena, Montana; a brother, Orvis Jacobs of Auburn, Washington; a sister Kathryn Henderson of Pacific City, Washington; 15 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceeded in death by a daughter, Mollie Earlene Milner, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.There will be visitation at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on Tuesday, April 30, 2002 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at 10:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Mullinex Building in Port Orchard. Interment will follow at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard. Memorial donations may be made to the L.D.S. Missionary Fund, C/O Bishop Steven Jensen, 924 SW Berry Lake Road, Port Orchard, WA 98366.
