Clyde W. Abelein 78, of Port Orchard, Washington died December 21, 2000 in Port Orchard. Clyde was born February 12, 1922 in Sidney, Montana to James and Bessie B.(McBridge)Abelein.Clyde attended High School in Sidney where her graduated in 1940. He was in the US Air Force during WWII and had the rank of Corpral.Mr. Abelein worked as a sheet metal worker and planer estimator at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington where he retired in 1974 after 34 years. He was a member of the RoundSquares Square Dance Club in Gorst, Washington and he was an Avid Outdoorsman as well.Surviving is wife Margie; daughter Joanne Bircumshaw of Tacoma, Washington, 2 Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Charles Abelein in 1975.Visitation will be Wednesday December 27, 9:00am to 5:00pm at Rill Chapel. Graveside services will be Thursday December 28, 1:00pm at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard, Washington. In leiu of flowers donations may be made to K.S.D.A. Square Dance Hall.
