Clyde Page Crowder, Sr., 64, died at Harrison Memorial Hospital October 8, 1998. He was born September 23, 1934 in Brodnax, VA to Sidney & Carrie (Johnson) Crowder and raised in Richmond, VA graduating from John Marshall High School in 1954. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1951 to 1977 as a Chief Petty Officer and as a Supply Specialist in Federal civilian service for 19 1/2 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of U. S. Submarine Veterans; the Fleet Reserve Association; The Wednesday Night Men's Bowling League - 'Bethel Bubba's'.Survived by son Clyde P. Crowder, Jr. of Port Orchard; daughters Kim Yaden of Gorst and Lisa Crowder of Port Orchard; brothers Curtis, Horace, and Billy Crowder of Virginia; sister Winnie Watson of Mechanicsville, VA; and 5 Grandchildren. Services are October 13, 1998 at 2:30 PM at Rill Chapel. Memorials can be made to American Cancer Socity.
