Colette Claudine Loch, 73, of Port Orchard, went to be with her Lord and Savior March 28, 2018.
Colette was born March 10, 1945, in Spokane, Washington, the daughter of Phillip David Kirschner and Vivian Lorinda Ellen Pettit. She married Andrew Loch on June 29, 1963 in Port Orchard. They are the parents of six children, Thomas Andrew (Geni) Loch of Tacoma, Peter David (Pam Martin) Loch of Port Orchard, Donna Vivian Doolittle Loch of Port Orchard, Teresa Marie (Jeff) Duke of Port Orchard, Michael Andrew Loch of Belfair, and Jeremy Joseph (Lisa) Loch of Port Orchard. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Perry (Connie) Kirschner or Port Orchard, Pam (Dave) Baldschun of Port Orchard, and Christina (Andy) Wright of Auburn, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Phillip Kirschner, and her son Peter Loch.
Colette was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard. She and her husband moved into their home in Port Orchard after being married, where they raised six children and where she lived the rest of her life. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Through her career she was employed at Pan Am and the Kitsap County School District, of where she retired in 1997.
Colette loved gardening and painting. She could often be found outside, passionately working in her flower beds and flower pots, where she grew beautiful flowers. Her other passion was painting with oils, pastels, and acrylics. She was amazingly talented and would give her paintings away freely.
Colette’s memorial service will be held at St. Gabriel Catholic church on April 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
