Coline M. Coburn, 85 of Longbranch, Washington died at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Washington on July 26, 2006. She was born on May 14, 1921 in Tracy, Minnesota to Ernest & Della (Edwards) Gillis. She graduated from Balaton High School in Balaton, Minnesota in 1939 and the Mankato Teacher College in Mankato, Minnesota in 1941. She married Dillon "Don" Coburn on April 5, 1944 in Rapid City, South Dakota. Coline was a homemaker and also worked as a substitute teacher at Elementary schools in Snohomish, Pierce, and King counties. She taught full time for three years after graduating from college. She and her husband traveled extensively. She enjoyed needle work and quilting. She was a member of Longbranch Community Church and Angel Guild in Key Center. She had a love of children and was a 4H Leader and elementary school tutor. Surviving are her husband; son Dean (Linda) Coburn of Longbranch; daughters Kathryn (Wes) Marson of Marysville, Washington, Barbara Coburn of Chelan, Washington, Peggy (Mark) Ingraham of Purdy, Washington, Terry Ingraham of Tennessee, and Pamela (Budd) Murray of Benson, Arizona; 1 brother; 5 sisters, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 brother and 3 sisters. Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Longbranch Community Church in Longbranch, Washington with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Longbranch Cemetery.
