Cora Young

Cora Lynette Young died May 10, 2002 in Port Orchard, WA. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA. on November 11, 1920 to Fenton and Elizabeth (Zimmerman) Young.Cora married William C. Young in Los Angeles, CA. on February 16, 1945.Cora graduated in 1938 from Franklin High School in Los Angeles, CA, and graduated in 1942 from Santa Barbara State Teachers' College in Santa Barbara, CA.She taught school in Santa Barbara, CA for 20+ years. Cora was also an artist and a member of the Methodist Church.Cora is survived by her son, Williamm A. Young, of Coupeville, WA., 2 grandchildren, and 3 great-granchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William C. Young in 1996.Interment will be at the Tillamook Oddfellows Cemetery, Tillamook, OR.
