Daisy Anderson

Daisy Viola Anderson, 98, of Port Orchard died on May 21, 2006. She was born in Los Angeles, California on February 18, 1908 to Arthur & May (Belott) Ridgeway. She graduated in 1925 from Polytechnic High School in Los Angeles and married Oscar Gustav Anderson on June 1, 1929 in Los Angeles. He preceded her in death in 1991. Daisy was a devoted mother and homemaker who enjoyed sewing, morning walks, her flower garden, baking, traveling with seniors, music & dancing, and her family & friends. She was a member of the Presbyterian Churh, the PTA, and the Salvation Army in Los Angeles, California. Survivors include her son Leroy & Linda (Nares) Anderson of Carlsbad, California; daughter Cathy and Dennis Moen of Port Orchard; grandchildren Kristie Anderson, Karen Anderson, Tricia Moen & Anne (Moen) Fowler; great-grandchildren Felicity Fowler and Madelyn Newcomer. She was preceded in death by sisters Georgie Lovelady and Katherine Chase. Memorial service will be on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Inurnment will be at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
