Dale Roy

Dale Glenn Roy, 56 of Port Orchard, WA died at the Naval Hospital Bremerton on February 13, 2008. He was born December 12, 1951 in Lawton, OK to Ernest & Riva Roy. He married Josephine Reed Bueno on July 4, 1987 in Olongapo City, Philippine Islands. Dale served as an Aviation Electronics Technician for 20 years in the U.S. Navy from 1980 to 2000. He earned the Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy & Armed Forces Expeditionary Medals, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Humanitarian Service Medal & Good Conduct Medal. Dale enjoyed camping, fishing & hunting. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard. Surviving are his wife Josephine; sons Jonathan & Shaun Roy and daughter Melody Roy, all of Port Orchard; mother-in-law Nillie Bueno of Portland, OR; and 1 grandchild Landen Roy. Visitation from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Tuesday, February 19th at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Funeral Mass at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard at Noon on Wednesday, February 20th. Burial at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent at 1:15pm on Thursday, February 21st.
