Dale Tankersley

Dale G. Tankersley died November 3, 2002 at Ridgemont Terrace in Port Orchard, Washington. He was 87.He was born in Moweaque, Illinois February 20, 1915 to William and Matilda (Suppes) Tankersley.He married Cecelia E. (Price) Tankersley October 22, 1947 in Geneseo, Illinois.Dale served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Burma. He attained rank of Master Sergeant.He also worked as General Supervisor in data processing with General Motors for 24 years - retiring in 1980.Dale was a member of the Methodist Church.He is survived by his wife, Cecelia E. (Price) Tankersley of Port Orchard, Washington; son - Terry Tankersley of Plano, Texas; daughter - Sharon Kay of Port Orchard, Washington; 1 grandchild - David Tankersley; and 2 great-grandchildren - Carl and Joshua Tankersley.
