Dan Buckingham

Dan Buckingham of Port Orchard, Washington died in a motorcycle accident on January 24, 2005. He was 47. He was born January 22, 1958 in Augusta, Georgia to Jackie Buckingham and Inez Monroe (Murphy). Dan graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard in 1976. He worked as a woodsman and tree topper. Dan enjoyed motorcycles and boating. He is survived by father - Jackie Buckingham of Bridgeport, Washington; mother - Inez Monroe of Farmland, Indiana; son - Daniel Jay Corona of Sumner, Washington; half-sisters - Janice Kay, Lauralee; brother - Steve Buckingham (& wife, Tamara) of Port Orchard; half-brothers - Rick, David and Richard; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m.
