Daniel Bacque'

Daniel Paul Bacque', 78 of Port Orchard, died at Linden Grove Health Care in Puyallup, Washington on September 14, 2006. He was born on July 17, 1928 in Therien, Alberta, Canada to Pierre & Yvonne Bacque'. He married Nina Jones on December 7, 1957 in Victoria, British Columbia. She preceded him in death in 2006. Daniel worked as a Service and Lineman with Puget Power for 30 years, retiring in 1993. He was an active member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, Knights of Columbus in Port Orchard, and I.B.E.W. Union. He enjoyed fishing and camping - particularly campground hosting with his wife. He also liked to garden and landscape, bird watching, doing charity work and volenteering with the Puget Sound Blood Bank. Surviving are son Paul (Pattie) Bacque' of Tacoma; daughter Annette Hutchinson of Port Orchard; brothers Ernest (Pat) Bacque' of Ottawa, Ontario, Joe (Donna) Bacque' of Innisfail, Alberta, and Clement Bacque' of Busby, Alberta; sisters Therese Gamache (Charlie) of Edmonton, Alberta, and Rita (Bernie) Genereux of St. Paul, Alberta; sister-in-law Margie Bacque' of Therien, Alberta; brother-in-law Henry Corbiere of Cold Lake, Alberta; grandchildren Kristin & Steven Bacque' and Tyler Hutchinson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Andre', John, & Roland, and sisters Louise and Celine. Visitation will be at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Rosary will be at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard at 7:00 pm on September 20th. Funeral Mass will be at St. Gabriel Catholic Church on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 11:00 am.
