Mr. Daniel Brinton Culley, age 75, died on June 9, 2001. He had been a resident of Port Orchard, Washington and a resident of Kitsap County, Washington for fifty four years.Mr. Culley was born on August 14, 1925 in Northeast, Maryland to George and Mary(Bryan) Culley. He graduated from Northeast Maryland High School in 1942.Mr. Culley married Dorothy Smith on June 7, 1947.He served in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1948 as a Boatswain's Mate. He then worked for twenty eight years as a Flange Turner at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard before retiring in 1973.Mr. Culley enjoyed the outdoors, and was active in Youth Baseball and Scouting.Mr. Culley is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of the family home; sons Aaron Culley of Redmond, Washington; Brant Culley of Federal Way, Washington, and Gordon Culley of Holliston, Massachusetts. He also is survived by daughters Dorothy White of Port Orchard, Heather Wroe of Tacoma, Hollie Geimer of Port Hadlock, Washington; and brother, Rodney Culley of Delaware. He had eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Mr. Culley was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Culley; ten brothers and one sister.Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 13th, 2001 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., at Rill Chapel for the public. Visitation is also scheduled on Thursday, June 14, 2001, at 10 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Hoover Avenue in Port Orchard. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., June 14, 2001.Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bremerton.
